Dr. Harsha Ramchandani, MD, was inducted into the Health Category in 2026.
Dr. Harsha Ramchandani is a board-certified physician and Chief Medical Officer at Bay Area Community Health Center (BACH), one of Northern California's largest FQHCs. She oversees 21 clinics and 13 mobile units delivering primary care, dental, vision, and behavioral health services across Santa Clara and Alameda counties. Her clinical focus includes substance use disorder, diabetes, and obesity, with a strong emphasis on improving care coordination through partnerships with hospitals and care teams. A dedicated advocate for health equity, Dr. Ramchandani advances access through telehealth and mobile care for underserved populations. She is an expert in opioid use disorder treatment and believes in collaborative, team-based care.
She serves as an Alameda County Public Health Commissioner and volunteers on the board of a nonprofit sober living organization. Dr. Ramchandani is a member of several professional medical associations and trained in India, Detroit, and UCLA.
